About the Role
As a Buying Intern at Voodoo, you will play a crucial role in sourcing and negotiating inventory opportunities for our e-commerce platform, Jamble. This will involve working closely with our team to identify and secure high-quality inventory from brand overstocks, wholesalers, and other suppliers. Your goal will be to expand our inventory, ensuring a diverse and exciting product offering for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and reaching out to potential inventory sources, including brand overstocks, wholesalers, and other suppliers.
- Participate in negotiations to secure favorable terms for inventory purchases.
- Help in organizing and cataloging potential inventory opportunities.
- Collaborate with the team to evaluate and prioritize potential inventory deals based on product quality, pricing, and alignment with Jamble’s brand.
- Work alongside the buying team to manage relationships with suppliers and follow up.
- Support the team in analyzing market trends and competitor offerings to keep our inventory competitive and desirable.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including contract handling, purchase orders.
About You
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Business or Management.
- You have a strong interest in fashion, e-commerce, and inventory management.
- You possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- You are able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
