Our proposition goes far beyond ecommerce media and consists in 5 main pillars: Consulting, ecommerce operations, Content production and optimization, Ecommerce media and Sales analytics.
Global Ecommerce Director Role
The Global Ecommerce Director is supporting Havas Market’s global team to manage, grow and evolve all aspects of Havas Media’s ecommerce practice. The role will require deep knowledge of Ecommerce and extensive experience on tactics and implementation for omnichannel ecommerce across touchpoints. She or he will be supporting Havas Market Global Managing Director to achieve high growth and development of the network, working on punctual missions helping local countries, pushing best practices and the constant update of our offer and tech stack.
Job Description
Main Responsibilities
Clients / New Business
- Support on Global clients: commercial presentations, workshops and trainings, Client management, audits, and strategic recommendations
- Support on Global pitches (Media, omnichannel, or ecommerce only): audits, pitch decks, pitch presentation, SLAs and process review.
- Support of local Havas Market teams on local pitches and client recommendations
- Support on development of media strategy and tactics across ecommerce media channels
Offer
- Work with Havas Market Global Managing Director in developing new offers around innovations and ecommerce opportunities
- Adaptation of our offer to global/regional eretailers
- Identify with global Ecommerce director strategic verticals and push to have strong capabilities in the segment locally
- Operational support to develop the Social Commerce offer together with the Social Team (Catalogue, Live shopping, CAPI, KOL management)
- Retail Paid media offer across global eretailers
Network and Comms
- Monitoring of local Business Activity
- Assure financial reporting is accurate
- Challenge local business pipelines
- Launch and onboarding of new markets around offer, identity, tech stack, strategic approach
- Work with the team on Audits and action plan for country openings
- Global Comms: Help with Website updates, LinkedIn animation, PR management and articles creation
Education & Languages
- Master’s degree in Business, Marketing or Digital communications.
- 10 year-experience in the retail/ecommerce industry
- Fluent in English, French is appreciated.
Key Competencies
- Extensive understanding of internal and external variables that impact online sales
- Strong Business development capabilities and ability to convince stakeholders
- Experience in Ecommerce operations, Ecommerce/Retail Media/Performance Media, catalog management, Retail analytics
- Proven track record in Ecommerce at a pure player agency, retailer, or advertiser
- Ability to measure Ecommerce campaign success and recommend content optimization
- Experience in startup or early-stage environments for best practice definition
- Data Driven: Compile and analyze data to provide actionable insights
- Strong negotiation, written communication, and presentation skills
- Strong decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills
- Excellent project-management skills
