Our client is a major European multinational Technology / e-commerce company with a presence in more than 30 countries.
Job Description
We are looking for their Paris office, a Legal Expert reporting to the General Director in France and the Legal Director in Europe. The Legal Expert will be a real support of the operational teams on all legal subjects.
Candidate Profile
They are looking to hire a 4-8 year’s experience profile in legal department with experience in multinational Internet/technology business environments, drafting contracts and handling various legal matters related to corporate law, consumer law and e-commerce laws (droit des sociétés, droit de la consommation, e-commerce).

Will work with other legal team members in other EU offices.
Functions
- Anticipate and understand the legal needs and issues of the company
- Serve as the legal point of contact for the France and international teams (Operations, Finance, Sales, and Marketing)
- Legal research and monitoring, risk analysis, and advice to operational teams
- Drafting legal documents (adaptation from English), analysis, and contract monitoring
- Various legal matters related to corporate law, consumer law, and e-commerce
- Handling amicable settlements and/or legal disputes with the assistance of external lawyers
- Continuous improvement and formalization of legal processes
- Ensuring compliance and adherence to GDPR provisions, managing insurance contracts with brokers, etc.
Your Profile
- Master’s degree (Bac +5) in business law, contract law, or private law (droit des affaires, droit des contrats, droit privé)
- 4-8 years of experience in a legal department
- Bilingual English (C1 level written-Spoken) and Native French
- Organized / Rigorous / Proactive / Team player
