Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Job Summary
Freshtechit is seeking a talented Senior Project Manager to join our Services Delivery Organization to lead a range of enterprise software implementations and projects in a global retail/e-commerce organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and deliver sophisticated customer projects at the highest level of quality.
- Build and maintain detailed project plans, adjusting under change control, to assure a high-quality and successful outcome.
- Ensure the quality of Work Items content, e.g., descriptive definition, acceptance criteria, priority.
- Lead globally distributed and matrixed teams and take ownership of any critical issues end-to-end.
- Build strong and positive customer relationships and handle customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure the project team and activities follow the company methodology and gating processes, including scrum master activities.
- Conduct governance reviews with the leadership team and customers.
- Provide regular updates to internal reporting systems and executive project reporting.
- Take ownership of project financials, including financial forecasts, P&L, and invoicing.
- Ensure project resources are effectively utilized and their time is supervised and approved in line with the budget.
Requirements
- Experience in project management and implementing large enterprise software solutions.
- Good working experience of project management principles and SDLC methodologies such as Agile.
- Proven experience in delivering Agile projects.
- Experience of delivering projects in a commercial environment is strongly preferred.
- Results-oriented and high level of resilience, especially in an environment of change.
- Proven track record in leading a project team with a matrix model, managing customers, and working with internal stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of technologies and software integration domains.
- Highly collaborative working style and excellent social skills.
- Highly numerate and analytical approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a second foreign language desirable.
